Description
GayEscape III was the 3rd and final gay and lesbian cruise fundraiser was held on Saturday May 4, 1991 aboard the M/S Scandanavian Song. The ship left from St. Petersburg. The fundraiser had been planned originally by the Tampa MCC and members of GLCS board of directors convinced the church to allow GLCS to take over the event and share the revenue.
Organized by Gay and Lesbian Community Services of Central Florida, Inc.
Event Co-Chairs were Michael Wanzie and David Bain
The event was headlined by Marilyn Monroe impersonator Jimmy James and Bubba McNeely acted as the host & MC.
