Ginger Walsh
1933-2003
Ginger joined the West Volusia chapter of NOW early in its history after arriving
from Chicago in the 1970s. She devoted many years of service to NOW despite
health problems and envisioned a better world where women benefited from the
Equal Rights Amendment and lesbians and gay men were free to love and marry.
She was the original “Red Hot Momma” at Rosie O’Grady’s Good Time Emporium
at Church Street Station.
