Images of Paul Wegman, former MC of Parliament House, Orlando, that visually recount Paul's character, "Miss P." Paul Michael Wegman, also known as Miss P, was born and raised in Rochester, New York and moved to Florida in the 1960's. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Theatre. Although known as an entertainer for Parliament House, Wegman was also a performer at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater and an adjunct professor at Valencia Community College. Over the years Paul received many awards and acknowledgements from local civic, charitable and theatrical organizations. Wegman passed away on August 24, 2004 due to complications resulting from AIDS. This collection was loaned to the museum by Dave Wegman, Paul's brother, to be scanned.

Image of Paul Wegman- Miss P performing at The Horny Bull, Tampa in 1971. The Horny Bull was one of Tampa's first drag bar where many performers got their start in drag performance. Dave Wegman, his brother, comments that image was taken in "1972 at The Horny Bull in Tampa. He detailed on this costume and number in the James Sears book 'Rebels, Rubyfruit, and Rhinestones'. The song was "I Capricorn" by Shirley Bassey."
