<br /><br />Various themed sections including invisible lesbians/gays for people who, due to pressure of family, worker society, are unable to be publicly recognized as lesbian/gay was included for particpants who wanted to conceal their identity. They were encouraged to use their own creativity to disguise themselves using clown make up, masks, motorcycle helmets, etc..<br /><br />Immediately following the parade was a rally at the Lake Eola bandshell.

<br /><div>Major donors were Greater Orlando's Loving Deeds Inc. (GOLD) and The Hubert Design Consortion.</div>
<br /><strong>THEME</strong><br /><br /><div>In honor of Disney employees who are members of the extended community of sexual minorities, Orlando Regional Pride has chosen "Proud World"</div>
<div>as the theme of the 1992 Orlando Regional Pride Parade. Phyllis Murphy has written uplifting lyrics to be sung to the famous tune "It's a Small World After All".</div>
<br /><div>A rally was held at the bandshell in Eola park following parade.</div>
<div><br /><strong>ROUTE</strong><br /><br />It stepped off at the corner of Osceola avenue and Central then traveled west on Central Blvd. along the south side Eola Park. During the course of the parade it will pause and a moment of silence will be observed the parade will then turn north and then turn into the park bandshell.</div>

Paul Michael Wegman or known as Miss P was born and raised in Rochester, New York and moved to Florida in 1960's, where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Theatre at the University of Central Florida. Although known as an entertainer for Parliament House, Wegman was also a performer at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater and adjunct professor at Valencia Community College. Over the years Paul received many awards and acknowledgements from local civic, charitable and theatrical organizations. Wegman passed away on August 24, 2004 due to complication resulting from AIDS.
