Description
These calendars were created by photographer Loc Robertson and drag performer Leigh Shannon, who decided to spotlight some local Florida drag talent. They allowed selected entertainers a fun photo shoot at a location of their choice. Robertson took a full body photo and a head shot for “Men in Heels 1998.” Because of the first calendar's success, "Men in Heels 2000" was a tribute to iconic American stars which featured local female impersonators. The calendar was sponsored by the Cactus Club and all profits were given to The Serenity House Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
